FAQ's
1. Why is this retreat more expensive than some other group trips in Ireland?
This retreat is more than just a group running tour; our retreat leaders are experts in mindful leadership so that they can support you on a journey that may be personally transformational. In addition we provide professional running guides, premium accommodations, cultural experiences, excellent meals and community.
2. I don't know anything about mindful running; do I need experience?
No prior experience is needed! Your retreat leader will provide you with mindfulness tips you can use on and off the trail to have a richer, deeper experience as a runner and a traveler. This helps you have a more rejuvenating retreat experience and come away with tools you can use to run better and manage stress more effectively.
3. How do I know your guides are qualified?
We've partnered with professional running guides that hold all the necessary certifications and emergency response required to safely guide in Ireland. Your safety and comfort is always our top priority. So please know you'll be in expert hands on the trails!
4. Can you accommodate my special dietary needs?
Yes. On your intake form, you can provide us with the details of your specific dietary needs, and we pass this information along to the restaurants at which we eat during the retreat.
5. Is it OK for me to come by myself?
Yes! Most of our retreat participants travel alone. You may book a private room or a shared room package, in which case we'll pair you with another solo traveler in a room with two beds.
6. How fit do I need to be to do these runs?
We recommend that you have the fitness to comfortably run at least 8 miles, whether that's on roads or trails. You'll be on your feet around 2 to 3 hours a day in variable weather conditions. So good health and some running fitness is required.
7. I'm coming with a friend; can we share a room together?
Certainly! Just add her name to your reservation and we will ensure you are roommates. You will each need to book a shared room package.
9. Can I pay in installments instead of all at once?
Definitely! Reach out to us at [email protected] and we will create a personalized plan that fits your needs.
We are here to help so please reach out to [email protected] or 970-930-1295 with any questions.
