Climate and Weather

Ireland's vast landscape is characterized by agricultural lowlands, hills, lakes and bogs surrounded by coastal mountains. Known as the Emerald Isle for its lush vegetation, this is a diverse island of extraordinary natural beauty and has a deep artistic and historical heritage.

As May ushers in the region's lush spring season, you can look forward to a variety of weather; from warmth and  sunshine to rain-showers and chilly temps. Sometimes we get 3 seasons of weather in one day! The norms for daytime temperatures hover around a pleasant 10 to 15°C (50’s to 60’s°F) and cooling at night. Frequent light rain-showers are what give us our emerald-green vistas so be sure to pack a lightweight rain-proof slicker for our outdoor activities.  The lush surroundings and serene atmosphere provide the perfect backdrop for an invigorating and rejuvenating escape. Prepare to embrace the beauty of nature while you run, relax, and recharge in this Irish paradise!
