Travel Mindfully to Truly Unwind

This retreat can be the kind of vacation that truly transforms your state of mind and body, if you're open to it. Our retreats are designed to support you as a whole woman, not just a runner. That means you can expect free time to yourself, away from the group. It means that there are wellness experiences included in your retreat package to support your nervous system reset. This is your chance to heal from the effects of stress and focus on doing the things that energize you, inspire you and feed your soul.

Lower Stress + Find Flow with Mindful Running

Mindful Running is this retreat's defining experience. Your dedicated Retreat Leader will lead you through experiences on and off the trail that are designed to help you discover how to run with more ease and flow. If you've never run trails before, you'll learn how to adapt your road running technique for this new terrain. And if you're an experienced trail runner, you'll take your running to a whole new level of efficiency and joy. Connect more deeply with nature, yourself and other women through this powerful practice that provides you with skills and insights to maximize the stress-reducing effects of running.

Running in the Heart of the Dolomites

Our mindful runs take place along well-established alpine trails between 5,000 and 9,000 feet in elevation. Whether you’re coming from sea level or already live at altitude, it’s completely natural to slow your pace a bit - and we’ve built that into each day. You’ll have plenty of time to move at the pace that feels right for you, whether that means running, hiking, or a little of both.

July brings the warmest weather of the year, with daytime temperatures typically ranging from the 50s to 70s °F (10–21°C). Still, as with any mountain climate, conditions can shift quickly. A light rain jacket is a must, and don’t worry - we’ll send you a complete packing list so you feel confident and prepared for whatever the weather brings.

Savor the Flavors of the Dolomites

One of the great joys of this retreat is experiencing the rich culinary traditions of the Dolomites. Each day, we’ll gather around the table to enjoy authentic Ladin and Italian dishes that reflect the region’s deep love for fresh, flavorful food.

You might try tris di canederli - a trio of hearty alpine dumplings - taste the local speck (a delicately smoked ham unique to South Tyrol), or warm up with creamy polenta, known here as the “bread of the Dolomites.” And of course, no meal is complete without a slice of flaky, homemade apfelstrudel.

We’ve thoughtfully selected each restaurant for its quality, atmosphere, and locally inspired menus. Most meals are included in your retreat, and you’ll order directly from the menu, choosing what delights you most.

Have dietary restrictions? We’ve got you covered. Once you’re registered, you’ll fill out a participant profile where you can share any dietary needs, allergies, or preferences. We’ll communicate directly with our restaurant partners to ensure you’re well cared for—so you can relax and enjoy every bite.
