It's For You If:

This retreat is Level I. That means it's for you if:  

  • You can run or alternate running and walking up to 6 miles at time
  • You can are Ok with brief exposure to heights or narrow trails
  • You don't need experience with running trails, but already have some experience with running on roads
  • You are able to run or walk on short uphills and downhills
  • You are not a fast runner; slow is OK on this retreat! 
  • You have or are willing to purchase trail running shoes and a hydration pack or belt that can hold 1L of water
  • This retreat is not recommended if you only want to hike or walk the entire time.

During this retreat, you'll cover approximately 18 - 20 miles total, depending on which options you choose on choose when there are options for shortening a route to suit your needs. Our guides will make changes to run routes as need for your safety and comfort. 

Lower Stress + Find Flow with Mindful Running

Mindful Running is this retreat's defining experience. Your dedicated Retreat Leader will lead you through experiences on and off the trail that are designed to help you discover how to run with more ease and flow. And if you've never run trails before, you'll learn how to adapt your road running technique for this new terrain. And if you're an experienced trail runner, you'll take your running to a whole new level of efficiency and joy. Connect more deeply with nature, yourself and other women through this powerful practice that provides you with skills and insights to maximize the stress-reducing effects of running. 

Travel Mindfully to Truly Unwind

This retreat can be the kind of vacation that truly transforms your state of mind and body, if you're open to it. Our retreats are designed to support you as a whole woman, not just a runner. That means you can expect free time to yourself, away from the group. It means that there are wellness experiences included in your retreat package to support your nervous system reset. This is your chance to heal from the effects of stress and focus on doing the things that energize you, inspire you and feed your soul. 

Stay 3 Nights at the Red Cliffs Lodge

Included in your retreat package is three nights at the Red Cliffs Lodge, located 17 miles from the town of Moab. It features large suites and cabins that overlook either a creek and horse pasture or the Colorado River. You'll have a kitchenette with a fridge, toaster, microwave and dishes. On-site services include a restaurant, pool, hot tub, bar and river access.

Wellness + Spa Services

Discover tranquility at Red Cliffs Lodge through morning Sunrise Yoga & Meditation sessions—a blissful hour of relaxation, healing, and wellness amidst the captivating red rocks. Led by expert instructors from Desert Power Yoga Studio in Moab, these sessions are complimentary for lodge guests. Simply book directly with the front desk and embrace the serene morning vibes daily at 7:00 AM.

Elevate your retreat further with Red Cliffs Lodge Massage services, where skilled therapists provide tailored treatments for ultimate relaxation. Choose from a variety of massages, available daily. Book your massage directly through the Spa Booking Link and immerse yourself in a state of complete rejuvenation. Please note that spa services are not included in the retreat package.

Suggested Spa Appointment Times:

  • Day 2: Start by 1:30 pm, complete by 4 pm.
  • Day 3: Begin by 1:30 pm, complete by 3:45 pm.

Southwestern Cuisine with a Modern Twist

Experience exceptional dining at the Red Cliffs Lodge's Cowboy Grill and some of Moab's best restaurants. Most meals are included in your retreat package, and we handpick high-quality restaurants for unforgettable culinary experiences. We make every effort to accommodate your dietary preferences and restrictions. However, there are occasions when we may face limitations. You'll have a chance to indicate your specific dietary requirements in the retreat participant intake form. Please note that alcoholic drinks are excluded, and snacks and beverages outside of meals and trail runs are not included.
