February is one of the best times to visit Thailand, offering warm, pleasant weather with little rainfall. Expect temperatures ranging from 75°F to 90°F (24°C to 32°C), with cooler mornings and evenings—ideal conditions for running and exploring.

Add on: Pre-Retreat Extension at Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort + guided tour of Wat Pho Temple

Instead of commencing your retreat with fatigue and jetlag, begin the experience feeling rejuvenated and fully rested.

Upon arrival at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport, a local guide will be waiting to take you to your centrally located hotel along the Chao Phraya River, The Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort. This is the same hotel where you will start the retreat on Feb. 11th. 

After getting settled, the rest of the afternoon is yours to rest or explore! In the morning, enjoy breakfast at the hotel and some leisure time. A local English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel for a guided visit to Bangkok’s Grand Palace and Wat Pho Temple. At Wat Pho, indulge in a 30 minute reflexology massage. Your local guide will then treat you to lunch at a local restaurant. The rest of your afternoon is free until the retreat begins at 4:00 PM.

Add on: Post-Retreat Wellness Extension in Krabi

Trade the mountains for the beach! If you're interested in extending your time in Thailand, take a quick flight from Chiang Mai to Krabi (included in the extension package) to indulge in three nights of beachfront luxury at the Tubaak Resort. Situated in an area of Thailand known for its beautiful sandy oceanfront, Krabi will be the perfect new environment to continue your exploration of all the country has to offer.

The Tubaak Resort overlooks a gorgeous white sand beach and a spectacular 13-island archipelago in the Andaman Sea. The distant islands provide great shelter from the monsoon winds creating a safe beach to swim with calm waters all year round. You will rest your head in a Sea View Room with a view of the Andaman Sea. The spacious terrace with comfortable lounge chairs is a place you will want to linger and listen to the waves or enjoy the outdoor bathtub. 

Included in this extension is a day trip to Phi Phi Island, one of the most picturesque islands in the world. After passing the iconic Maya Bay, now only visible from your private speed boat so that the beach’s ecosystem and its corals can rebuild, you will visit Pileh Cove, Monkey Beach, and Tham Phaya Nak - the cave of the Naga, the great serpent of Buddhist legend. It is a place much revered by the local people who come here to collect the swift’s nests that are used to make 'bird nest' soup.

Your guide will treat you to lunch on Phi Phi island, followed by swimming or snorkeling off of Bamboo Island before returning to the resort in Krabi for a relaxing evening.

The rest of your time in Krabi will be at your leisure to enjoy the wellness resort and its many amenities and onsite spa: L’Escape. You will depart Thailand on February 23rd from the Krabi Airport.
