GRATUITY
At the end of the retreat, your Retreat Leader will collect cash (U.S. dollars) from all retreat participants as a gratuity for local guides. You may provide the amount that feels right to you; we recommend offering $40 - $60 dollars, which will be shared between the guides. If you’d like to show appreciation for your Retreat Leader, a gratuity of USD $25-50 per day is not expected but is always appreciated.

Your deposit is fully transferrable to any other trip or partially refundable until June 13, 2026. Trip payments are non-refundable after this date. We recommend travel insurance with "Cancel for Any Reason" for this reason. Click here to see full terms and conditions.
FAQs
1. I've never run trails before, is that OK?
Yes! Your Retreat Leader will guide you through 3 mindful running clinics and the best way to approach the trail. As long as you have the fitness to run 7 miles on the road, you will be amazing. We will spend 2-3 hours on trail each day which includes time for breaks, photo ops and snacks.
2. Can you accommodate my special dietary needs?
Yes. Once you book your retreat, you will complete your participant profile, where you can provide us with the details of your specific dietary needs. We will pass this information along to the restaurants at which we eat during the retreat. If you have food allergies or an extremely restricted diet, let us know and we will discuss the options for accommodating those needs with you.
3. Is it OK for me to come by myself?
Yes! Most of our retreat participants travel alone. You may book a private room or a shared room package, in which case we'll pair you with another solo traveler in a room with two beds and an ensuite bathroom.
4. How fast do I need to be able to run?
Our retreats our set up so that you can rest, reset and meet some amazing like minded women. We are not trying to set a personal record. We think of our runs as accordions - we will start as a group but quickly become spread out. We will have a local running guide lead the group and one sweep at the end while our Retreat Leader floats among the group. We will spread out on the trail and then come back together for breaks, photo ops and mindful running clinics. There is no pressure to run at a certain pace.
5. I'm coming with a friend; can we share a room together?
Certainly! We can assure you and your friend will be roommates (when you each book a shared room package).
6. Do I need my own car?
It's not necessary to have a car for this retreat. It's easy to find transportation from the Burlington airport and we provide all the transportation to and from the run locations and back to the airport.
7. Is all the food included, or just some meals?
We include all the meals from Thursday dinner through Sunday lunch, though any snacks and drinks you purchase outside of these meals is on your own. Alcoholic drinks and mocktails are not included.
